Barbara Eberhart has been an artist all her life. She graduated from CSU Sacramento with a BFA in Fine Art and has been creating her beautiful work in Hawaii since 1981. She has won many awards and honors; her work is owned by the Hawaii State Culture and Arts program and has been commissioned for the prestigious Parade of Homes.
Barbara is prolific in many diverse areas of painting and drawing, constantly experimenting and evolving in her work. She passes on her love of creativity though her popular "Art with Hart" classes in her studio where she's taught hundreds of students over the past decade. Creativity is a 'natural high' and God-given right every human being can enjoy. Lately she has helped the women of WCC creating life-affirming murals for their facility. She feels the right-brained, meditative aspects of Art bring healing, happiness, and health.
Through all the many techniques and styles of painting, Barbara's goal in her work is to bring Joy to the viewer. She says "Spirituality manifests itself through Joy, and Life, like Art, is what you make it". She makes it very beautiful.
