Free-standing folding screens made of hand-painted canvas hinged together are the perfect solution for homes today. My love for creating large wall murals combined with my passion for paint on canvas to create a work of art that can be unlimited in size, depending on number of panels, their size, etc. Unlike most murals, screens can be painted in my own studio, instead of on a client's premises. When the homeowner wants to change the look in one room or another, they can be shifted to any new location, depending on whim.
Screens can be used to create separate spaces in one's home, especially convenient when spontaneous sleeping quarters are necessary, or to hide current projects or a home office. When not being used as a room divider, they attach easily to the wall to enhance the beauty of any living space. These screens pictured here are all five feet in height by twenty inches across per panel, but of course could be commissioned in any size desired. So does this large size make them bulky and hard to manage? Quite the opposite: screens can be completely folded up for easy moving, rearranging, or even storage. Thoroughly adaptable, in either Acrylic or Oil paint, they are an interior designers dream and a homeowner's delight.
